HEALTHCARE & LIFE SCIENCES

Patient workflows. Qualified people in control.

From prior authorisations to adverse-event intake, the work is document-heavy, rule-bound and sensitive. Taskflo is designed to run it in your cloud, with clinicians and safety teams in control.

CLINICAL EVIDENCE FILE

  1. Clinical evidence
  2. Draft submission
  3. Clinician review
Qualified clinician reviews before submission. Illustrative process, not a customer deployment.

WHY AGENTS STALL HERE

Patient data has a boundary. So does accountability.

Sensitive records and clinical judgement need a clear boundary between preparation and decision.

  1. Residency and purpose rules are non-negotiable.

  2. Clinical and safety decisions belong to qualified people.

  3. Validated processes need traceable records.

PROCESS STUDIES

Clinicians decide. Agents prepare.

Prior authorisation preparation

Compile clinical evidence against payer criteria and draft the submission. A clinician reviews and submits.

  1. Compile
  2. Draft
  3. Clinical review

Pharmacovigilance case intake

Extract adverse-event details and flag seriousness. A safety specialist confirms every case.

  1. Extract
  2. Flag
  3. Specialist review

Medical information requests

Draft responses from approved content. Nothing goes out without medical review.

  1. Approved content
  2. Draft
  3. Review

Example workflows are illustrative designs, not customer case studies.

The three questions, answered for healthcare.

  1. Where does the data go?

Review your account boundary, model-service terms, region and network paths.

  2. Who can act on our behalf?

Declare tools, owners, limits and approval roles. Keep judgement with the qualified people.

  3. Can we prove what happened?

Review the version, decision record and evidence-retention controls together.

REGULATORY CONTEXT

Triage and eligibility can be high-risk.

Emergency patient triage and specified eligibility decisions for public healthcare assistance are listed in Annex III. High-risk AI integrated into Annex I regulated products has an application date of 2 August 2028. Medical-device classification requires a product-specific assessment; not every healthcare workflow is a medical device.

Health data is special-category data under GDPR. Map purpose, access, retention and the relevant quality process before introducing an agent. Keep the clinician or safety specialist responsible for the decision, including when the model output is uncertain or a source record is incomplete.

General information, not legal advice. EU AI Act and 2026 amendment. Your legal and professional advisers determine the applicable requirements.
